Jim Armstrong leads the Webinar Content Team, working to create engaging and entertaining content for people interested in learning more about cryptocurrencies. Prior to this role, he was a marketing director focused on creating educational content covering retirement planning and other financial wellness topics.

Before coming to Fidelity in 2018, Jim distinguished himself as an Emmy-winning journalist, spending the first 17 years of his career as a television reporter for
network affiliates around the country. He holds a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism from Boston University’s College of Communication, a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island’s College of Business Administration.

In his personal time, Jim volunteers for charities that support local public schools and global environmental stewardship. Jim and his wife have two young sons, and he can often be found driving one or both of them to various sporting events.

Tony Kim, Managing Director, is Head of the Global Technology Team within the Fundamental Equities division of BlackRock’s Portfolio Management Group. He is lead portfolio manager of the BlackRock Technology Opportunities Fund and related global strategies.

Mr. Kim joined BlackRock in 2013. His 30 years of experience in technology investments also includes key roles at Artisan Partners, Credit Suisse Asset Management, Neuberger Berman, Merrill Lynch and SG Warburg. 

Mr. Kim is a member of the Advisory Board for Columbia Business School’s Digital Future Initiative, which brings together Columbia faculty members and leaders from across industries to help organizations, governments and communities optimize and accelerate the technological advances of the future.

Mr. Kim earned a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Columbia University.

Bret Johnsen has served as our Chief Financial Officer since 2011. In this role, Mr. Johnsen leads our global finance organization and is responsible for our long-term financial strategy, internal financial operations, interactions with the financial community, and the financial aspects of our growth initiatives. With more than two decades of experience in financial leadership, primarily in high-profile technology and semiconductor companies, his leadership continues to play a key role in driving our financial performance, long-term value creation and operational discipline. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Johnsen served as Chief Financial Officer at Mindspeed Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded semiconductor company, from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that role, he spent nearly a decade at Broadcom Inc., a global semiconductor company, from 1999 to 2008, holding roles of increasing responsibility within the organization, including serving as Vice President and Corporate Controller. 

Mr. Johnsen serves as a Trustee of the University of Southern California and holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Southern California and an M.S. in Finance from San Diego State University, and he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
