Alexandra (Alex) Roca is a workplace financial consultant for Fidelity Investments within the Employee Meeting Group in the Southeast Region. Alex provides onsite educational workshops for Fidelity 401(k) clients and their employees to help them understand their retirement and investment needs. She joined Fidelity in 2016. Prior to her current role, she was an investment education consultant within the Employee Meeting Group with Fidelity Investments.
She is a registered representative, holds her Certified Financial Planner™ certificate, and has her Florida insurance license. She is a bilingual presenter in English and Spanish.
Outside of work, Alex loves to spend time with her family and friends, cook, read, travel, and attend concerts.
Alex Sheldon is the Head of Research & Social Impact at Daylight, the first LGBTQ banking platform. They are a professional researcher, strategist, and advocate with over 15 years of experience working in social impact and LGBTQ rights. Prior to joining Daylight, Alex served as the Deputy Director of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) at the Clinton Foundation where they helped launch the Action Network on Inclusive Economic Recovery in the US. Their experience also includes research roles at Everytown for Gun Safety, the Movement Advancement Project (MAP), and several international nonprofit organizations.
They received an MA in International Human Rights from the University of Denver, a BA in Psychology from Whittier College in California, and a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice. Alex is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, and they currently serve as an adjunct professor of Advanced LGBTQ Policy at New York University.
Bianka Guzman, a Fidelity Planning and Education Consultant, has more than 5 years with the company and 10 years in the financial industry. Bianka promotes financial wellness for plan participants through one-on-one planning and educational events. A Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor SM, Equity Compensation Associate, and a Registered Securities Representative. Bianka holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Management from Pace University.
Gigi, also known as The First Gen Mentor, is a passionate money educator dedicated to empowering first-generation students and young professionals of color to confidently manage their money, pay off debt, build generational wealth, and gain financial freedom. As a first-gen Latina herself, Gigi knows firsthand the discomfort and overwhelm that can come with attempting to navigate higher education and professional spaces without guidance or support. Her mission is to pave the way for those who come behind her through mentorship, financial education, and guidance. With over 10 years of experience in financial services, a BA in Economics, a certificate in investment performance measurement, and experience as a volunteer financial educator, Gigi is equipped with the knowledge and expertise to help others achieve their financial goals. In January 2024, she will be launching her debut money book, Cultura & Cash: Lessons from The First Gen Mentor for Managing Finances and Cultural Expectations.
Rommel is vice president of Customer Inclusion and is the Latino Community lead for Fidelity Investments. He has been with Fidelity for nearly 20 years, and his
broad knowledge spans multiple business units and countries across the enterprise, with a focus into digital product innovation. Most recently, he was a product manager focusing on Fidelity’s emerging healthcare business.
In his free time, Rommel enjoys traveling to parts unknown with his family and trying his best to be just as adventurous playing amateur chef in the kitchen.
